About our Community of Faith
Who we Are

• We are a  moderately sized congregation composed of families, couples, and singles of a variety of ages  and backgrounds. All people are welcome to bring their joys and sorrows, their hopes and fears, their dreams and doubts.
   
• Brief description of Lutheran beliefs.
   
• We confess our faith in Jesus the Christ, crucified and risen. We are part of the ELCA - Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

• We are a community of faith where worship helps foster an experience of God's presence and grace.
   
• We gather in community around God's Word and the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion to give praise to our faithful God, to be renewed in our faith, and to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
   
• We seek to help equip people with the insight, courage, and support they need to live out their faith in the real world.
   
• We understand that developing a mature faith is a life-long journey, knowing that questions, doubts, and discoveries are part of learning and growing in faith.
   
• We are passionately committed to making a difference in the lives of people.
   
• We are blessed with creative, gifted and faithful members, leaders and staff who reach out to minister not only to those in our congregation, but to the community and beyond.
   
• We are a Stephen Ministry congregation.  Stephen Ministry is an outreach ministry that equips laypersons to provide distinctively Christian, one-on-one care giving. 
   
• We have an active MOPS group for mothers of preschoolers.
   
• We are expanding our programs by finishing the basement.  Check out the progress:  The "Big Dig"
