At St. Stephen's, we recognize
the power of prayer. The Bible tells us a lot about prayer. We know
that the heartfelt continued prayer of a righteous person makes tremendous power
available. At St. Stephen's people learn how to pray.
The Prayer Ministry is composed
of groups of people who are serving the Lord by praying on behalf of others.
Intercessory prayer is a very important function for the church as it plays a
role in all aspects of every ministry.
I Thessalonians 5:17, "pray without ceasing." |

Prayer Chain - St.
Stephen's has established a prayer chain, and we would be honored to
place your prayer request on the prayer chain. The prayer chain is a
network of individuals who will receive prayer requests and
thanksgivings and will pray for each request. Please indicate
whether or not you want to prayer request to be included in our prayers
during the worship services.
|
- We are forming a Prayer Team -
The prayer team is a small group of "prayer warriors" who meet monthly
and pray daily for the concerns of the church and members. Please
contact
Pastor Jim Gearhart if you are interested in joining.

Prayer is for everybody.
It is not some mysterious practice reserved only for clergy and the religiously
devout. Remember that prayer is just talking to God. Any believers can pray from
the heart, freely, spontaneously, using your own words. |
