"A Study of the Old Testament Prophets"

| For five weeks we will take an in-depth
look at the prophets of the Old Testament. Who were the prophets? What role did they play in God's
plan for humankind and His creation? Were these men simply "fortune tellers" or was there more to
their story? These and many other questions will be addressed when we gather during the Education Hour
between the 8:15 & 10:30 worship services. Join us!
No need to sign up or to attend every session - just show
up in the basement at 9:30 am.

"Making Sense of the Christian Faith"

| "Making Sense of the Christian
Faith" is Dr. David Lose newest book. It is an exciting and inviting exploration of
seven major theological doctrines of the Christian faith in the order of the biblical
story. Topics include Theology, Creation, Sin, Covenant, Law, Community, Incarnation,
Atonement, Church and Holy Spirit, and Eschatology.
This study will pick up from 'Making Sense of
Scriptures." Again we look forward to honest and open discussions about the
theological doctrines of our Christian faith. You will find questions you always
wanted to ask someone, but didn't dare...and questions you would have wanted to ask, but
didn't know how. Anyone serious-or simply curious-about how the our Christian faith
will benefit from this study.

life and heart of Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, who served faithfully and loved
heartily. We will journey through the Mediterranean as we follow the life of Paul from
beginning to end. As we study the Book of Acts and the Letters of Paul, we will be
challenged to follow Paul's example just as he followed the example of Christ.

night out! These women know how to have a good time, and they will welcome you like an
old friend.

Women's Book Group
All women are invited to be a part of a study of the book,
With Christ in the School of Prayer by Andrew Murray. From the book's preface:
"With Christ in the School of Prayer" is a practical guide to learning how to pray.
Murray uses Luke's account, in which the disciples ask Jesus, 'Lord, teach us to pray,' as his
foundation, and moves on to explore (in thirty-one lessons) everything Jesus teaches about
prayer, inviting the reader into a rich life of intimacy with God."
